Who We Are
The Women’s and Obstetrics Health Association of Notre Dame Australia (WANDA) is the newest addition to MANDUS. WANDA is a society that aims to provide a networking space and an opportunity for students to explore both women’s and obstetrics health. We are passionate about educating people and encouraging conversations surrounding women’s and obstetrics health through our continuous advocation and education through our WANDA Wednesday instagram posts and through our multiple events throughout the year.
What We Do
Key events throughout the year include:
- Educational WANDA Wednesday Instagram posts (@wanda_unds)
- Key speaker events – International Women’s Day panel speaker event and pathways into OBGYN speaker night.
- March – Endometriosis Awareness fundraiser (Wear and Bake it Yellow)
- Breast cancer Awareness month
- Women’s Health week in September Birthing documentary
