Paediatric Society (PANDA)

The Paediatric Association of Notre Dame Australia (PANDA) is a society dedicated to increasing the awareness of paediatrics as a discipline, with multiple educational events. We also aim to enable opportunities for students to be involved with and work with children in the community. We are passionate about making a difference in Paediatric Health by providing key speakers nights and providing students a unique opportunity to creatively introduce health to primary school children.

Key Events throughout the year

PANDA runs a range of activities and events throughout the year. Our main initiative is the Teddy Bear Hospital Program where we visit multiple primary schools throughout Sydney to educate children on the importance of visiting the doctor. We run two Grand Rounds speaker nights during the year where we are facilitated to listen and discuss with Paediatric Specialists important issues in paediatric medicine.

We also run fun fundraisers throughout the year including:

  • Bob Tug Wilson’s Walk For Kids With Cancer
  • Jeans for Genes Day
  • Tracky Dack Day
  • Steptember
