On Thursday this week Global HANDS’ Maternal & Child Health division hosted an incredible online speaker event that had over 60 people tune in – from around the world! Big thank you to the speakers:
- Prof Rosemary Ogu, who video’d in from Nigeria, & spoke about Women’s Health & its global significance
- Prof Jayashri Kulkarni, who expanded our knowledge of women’s mental health & the impact that hormones/contraception can have on this
- Prof Ruth Stewart, the National Rural Health Commissioner for Australia, who spoke about the challenges women & children face in remote & rural areas of Australia
