The Prevention Centre is one of two National Health and Medical Research Council Partnership Centres, bringing together prevention researchers and decision-makers to better understand systems approaches to the prevention of lifestyle-related chronic health problems.

The Prevention Centre is offering three PhD Scholarships at $30,000 per annum (tax exempt and indexed annually) for three years. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of Australia’s leading prevention researchers on projects that will make a difference in the way we prevent chronic disease in Australia.

The scholarships cover three broad project areas: knowledge synthesis, communicating systems-level prevention and dynamics in prevention program implementation. One scholarship will be based at the University of Notre Dame Australia in Sydney.
